Rick, the CEO and co-founder of NGS Reimbursement Solutions, brings over two decades of experience in the commercial healthcare and life sciences industry. In 2019, he established NGS Reimbursement Solutions, following a career spanning 18+ years in molecular diagnostic startups and consulting roles at renowned companies such as CareDx, Novartis Dx, Verinata Health, and Illumina.
With a solid 18-year foundation in molecular diagnostics and 10+ years in next-generation sequencing (NGS) based diagnostics, Rick’s leadership at Illumina, where he founded the Global Market Access team, was instrumental in resolving clients’ market access and reimbursement challenges in e.g., Oncology, Women’s Health, and Rare Undiagnosed Genetic Disease markets. Rick is an invited speaker at national meetings, addressing the ever-evolving landscape of molecular diagnostics, commercialization, coverage, evidence development, and reimbursement.
Aruna Rajan
Aruna has about two decades of experience helping companies in the healthcare sector make strategic decisions and accelerate ROI through guided assessments. She worked in the market insights group at Illumina leading market and competitive analyses to support senior executives, product marketing, investor relations and sales. Before Illumina, Aruna was a strategy consultant at Scientia Advisors, a boutique life science strategy consulting company.
Her expertise lies in providing strategic insights and actionable information to life science companies. Led problem solving efforts by identifying issues, forming hypotheses, designing, and conducting analyses, synthesizing conclusions into recommendations.
